The Developing Women Empowerment Models in Manufacturing Industry (DWEMMI) Project aims to increase women’s participation in the workforce and promote gender equality in Türkiye’s manifacturing sectors. Funded by the European Union, the project is implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations (TİSK), and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye. The main aim of the project is to showcase pilot transformation cases in manufacturing industry and to establish replicable models for inclusive and sustainable growth with specific focus on women empowerment.

We contribute to making women’s experiences in the manufacturing sector more visible with our consortium partner Bee Company, ensuring that project outcomes reach relevant audiences effectively, and supporting the sustainability of the developed models.
Tandans is responsible for the strategic communication and research-driven components of the project. Our expertise supports the visibility and impact of the project through a gender-sensitive, data-informed, and inclusive communication approach.
All communication outputs reflect an inclusive visual and linguistic approach, avoiding stereotypes and amplifying diverse female leadership in manufacturing.
We craft social media posts, human-interest stories, press releases, gender-sensitive articles, and localized content to spotlight the journeys of Change Agents, Operators, and companies embracing inclusive practices.
We translate research, evaluations, and field insights into accessible content infographics, success stories, and social media narratives—that highlight women’s contributions to digital and green transformation.
