About the project

TANDANS Consulting plays a crucial role as a subcontractor to AAM Consulting in “The Establishment of a Labour Market Information System for Proper Management of the Regime for Free Movement of Skills within the CSME” project. The primary objective of this consultancy is to provide the CARICOM Secretariat and its Member States with an operational framework for data management related to the free movement of skills within the CSME (Caribbean Single Market and Economy). The ultimate goal is to enable better management of labor migration, enhance the functioning of the CSME Integrated Labor Market, facilitate improved management of the impacts of free movement, and advance the CARICOM Social Security system under the Revised Treaty.

TANDANS Consulting’s comprehensive involvement in this project is instrumental in establishing a robust framework for data management within the CSME, contributing to better labor migration management and the advancement of the CARICOM Social Security system in line with the objectives of the Revised Treaty.

TANDANS designs and implements an assessment survey to gather vital data. This survey is instrumental in assessing the current situation, data availability, and statistical needs within CARICOM Member States.

TANDANS conducts missions to CARICOM Member States to assess data availability and statistical capabilities. These missions provide critical insights into the state of labor market statistics.

TANDANS prepares an assessment report on labor market statistics, proposing indicators to be used in the Labor Market Information System (LMIS). They also prepare a proposal for a Labor Force Survey (LFS) and a sample Labor Market Analysis report for the CARICOM region.
