About the project

The primary objective of TANDANS Consulting in its joint venture with AAM Consulting for the “Smart Government – National Registration and Statistics Office Technical Assistance Advisory Project” in Mongolia, financed by the World Bank, is to provide critical expertise and guidance. Their aim is to conduct a comprehensive diagnosis of the current status of statistical business processes, aligning them with the Global Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM). Additionally, TANDANS Consulting is responsible for developing a strategic roadmap for the Mongolian Statistical Business Process Model (SBPM) and enterprise system. The implementation of a general Statistical Data and Metadata Exchange (SDMX) approach is integral to the creation of production and dissemination databases for the Mongolian Statistics Office, with a specific focus on data storage, analysis, and big data strategies.

TANDANS Consulting actively contributes to the re-design of statistical business procedures within the Mongolian Statistics Institute. This involves optimizing processes related to data collection, storage, and analysis in line with international best practices.

The team plays a crucial role in re-designing IT architectures, particularly data production and dissemination data warehouses. Their expertise ensures that the IT infrastructure aligns with the evolving needs of the Mongolian Statistics Office.

TANDANS Consulting is responsible for preparing a Standard Bidding Document. This document is a critical component of modernizing equipment and technology within the statistical office, ensuring the procurement process is transparent and in accordance with best practices.
